Castlefreke Trails
Castkefreke Trails is an initiative of Castlefreke Our Woods Our Walks (COWOW), which was founded in 2018 to ensure Castlefreke Woods is kept in public ownership. COWOW has supported the development of the Coillte paths into looped walks so that the public can continue to enjoy this wonderful amenity.

Upkeep of Trails
Maintenance and monitoring of the trails are carried out by a small team of people committed to providing an enjoyable walking experience for people of all ages and abilities. Please respect landowners’ property along the trails and do not enter private farmland.
